Dj Vang is a Motion Graphics Designer focused on synergizing graphic design, animation, and visual effects to convert educational, entertainment and business ideas and concepts to life. She completed her Bachelors of Fine Arts in spring of 2023 from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. She is currently looking for a full time position as a Motion Graphics designer or illustrator. She has interned as an animator at Cryptid Rescues, an animation studio based in Richmond, Va. She was able to experience rigging animals and human characters like crabs, weasel, and humans in Adobe After Effects for an animated film. She collaborated with the art lead on many projects involving storyboarding, assisting in editing characters and backgrounds. She also interned at Oakwood Arts, a non profit organization in Richmond, Va, as a graphic designer. She created various promotional social media post and helped create art workshops for local schools. In addition, she worked at a coding Academy in Gainesville, Va as a lead Advertisement Artist where she created many promotional social media post using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. She designed many icons and video graphics on social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. She also was involved in instructing kids, ages k - 12, about coding while introducing creative practices like design thinking. She loves to teach children about using art as a way to communicate and express.
